Data Deletion Instructions

1. Purpose. This page explains how you can request that AiVenue Labs erase personal data we hold about you, including data collected through our website (aivenuelabs.in), contact forms, and any Meta / Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp apps or integrations we operate as a Technology Provider or business tool for our clients. It satisfies Meta App Review's requirement for a publicly reachable data-deletion instructions URL, and aligns with your right to erasure under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. How to request deletion. Email admin@aivenuelabs.in with the subject line "Data deletion request". Include:

• Your full name and the email or phone number you used with us
• Which product or touchpoint is involved (website enquiry, WhatsApp Business, Meta app login, client campaign, other)
• Any Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp user ID or app-scoped ID you know of (optional, helps us locate records faster)
• Confirmation that you are the data principal, or that you are authorized to act for them

3. What we will do. On a valid request we will:

• Confirm receipt within a reasonable period (target: 72 hours)
• Identify personal data we hold as Data Fiduciary (enquiry records, analytics identifiers we control, Meta app user data stored by us)
• Erase or anonymize that data, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax invoices, fraud prevention logs with a documented retention basis)
• Confirm completion by email, including what was deleted and any categories retained with the legal reason

4. Meta platform automated callbacks. Where a Meta app we operate receives a signed data-deletion request from Meta (user removes the app, or Meta forwards a deletion signal), we process that callback, delete associated app-scoped user data we store, and return a confirmation code / status URL as required by Meta's platform policy. If you used Facebook Login or a similar Meta connection with an AiVenue app and want to trigger deletion from Meta's side, use Meta's in-product "Remove app" / settings flow; that path and the email path above are both valid.

5. Data we process for clients (processor role). When we process personal data only on a client's instructions (e.g. ad audiences, CRM syncs, WhatsApp conversations owned by the client business), the client is the Data Fiduciary. We will forward your request to that client and assist them, but the client remains responsible for the final erasure decision under their own policy and the DPDP Act. We will tell you which client holds the data when we can identify them from your request.

6. What we cannot delete. We cannot erase data we do not control (e.g. content you posted on Meta platforms, records held solely by a client in their own systems, or backups that age out on a fixed retention schedule). Where backups still contain your data after primary erasure, they are isolated from production use and expire per our retention schedule.

7. Timeline. We aim to complete erasure within 30 days of a verified request, consistent with a reasonable period under the DPDP Act. Complex cases (cross-client processor data, legal hold) may take longer; we will say so in writing.
